2018 Climbing Photography

2018 has been my first year really investing in climbing photography, honestly its been my first year really investing in climbing as a sport & a lifestyle.

I was able to get out and experience so many amazing places from Mores Mountain above Bogus Basin to the City of Rocks National Reserve in Almo, Idaho. And its all been incredible, from getting over fears, learning about new fears and preparing to get over those, and really just seeing myself & life in a new way.

If I have learned any important lesson through climbing it has been this, ‘that sometimes when I look up 5, maybe 10 feet ahead I often have no clue how I will get there, but I will. I always will get there. Maybe not the way everyone else did, maybe not even the way I thought I would. But I will get there. And isn’t that just life?’

As I get ready to start a new year, growing to excel in my craft of documenting with my camera I wanted to share a few of my favorite moments from the last climbing season.

Heres to the new year, new falls, new scrapes & bruises, new tape for bloody fingers, and new routes to new places. My best wishes to you all.
